Upgrade by Internet
This is the easiest and fastest way to upgrade your Openbox X5 firmware. You just need to connect your Openbox X5 to the internet and follow these steps:
Go to Main Menu and click S/W Upgrade by Internet.
Wait for 1-2 minutes until the upgrade process starts automatically.
Do not turn off the power or remove the internet cable during the upgrade.
When the upgrade is finished, your Openbox X5 will reboot and you will see the new firmware version on the screen.
Upgrade by USB
If you cannot upgrade by internet, you can use a USB flash drive to upgrade your Openbox X5 firmware. You need to download the latest firmware file from the official website or from other sources and save it to your USB flash drive. Then follow these steps:
Insert the USB flash drive into your Openbox X5.
Go to Main Menu and click S/W Upgrade by USB.
